Question: Is 11 years old too young to get this piercing?

I got my first one when I was a baby, and my second when I was about twelve or thirteen.
I highly doubt anyone will judge her for having two piercings in her ear lobes.

Say she ever regretted having the both of them once she's older (which I doubt she will) all she would have to do is take the jewelry out and let it close.

My mother is not strict whatsoever. She has let me get tattoos and piercings that most parents would frown upon, and I consider her to be very reasonable.

My mom didn't allow me to get any extra ear piercings until 8th grade, when I turned 14, which is think is acceptable. I think even 13 is okay. Anything under that, in my opinion, is having a child grow up too fast.

Considering she is only 11, I don't think she'd be responsible enough to care for a piercing. It takes a lot of effort to make sure they stay clean and keep away infections. Therefore, as long as your parents accept the piercings and will help her clean it, then it's all okay.

Just make sure if they don't let her get it, she doesn't go ahead and do it herself! That is VERY dangerous and unsafe for people of any age!

I think there is nothing wrong with ear lobe piercings at that age. But really it is all up to your parents.

My little sister got hers when she was 7 or 8. I got mine when I was 11 or 12. It's not as big a deal as it probably was a while back.
