Getting your tragus pierced at 14 seems rather, er, hasty and not precisely tasteful.

But. That's your choice and up to you.

Tragus piercings are none of the above that you've mentioned - not a surface piercing and I don't think you would want even a 10 gauge in your tragus, so I don't see why it would be a problem, if the information you provided is correct.
